Angel
Angels are the divine beings created from ichor by Ár. There were originally 24 Angels, all created female, two of which having been accidentally killed by Isa (another angel) and three of which turned into the Sun and moons. Of the remaining 19 angels, 9 are seraphs, a fierce army devoted to worshipping Ár. Angels are all effectively immortal, being resurrected in the Realm Beyond when they are killed; the only notable exception are the two angels killed by Isa, who have remained deceased for reasons unknown.
In the early ages of humanity, Angels played a much more active role in human society and civilization, overseeing and frequently paying visit to the human world. However, no account of Angels coming down to the human world since the beginning of the Sixth Age of Man exist, although some sources from the Five Kingdoms and Temlinid Empire eras claim that Angels visited the world during that time.

Names
The true names of Angels are thought to be incomprehensible to humans, if they even bear names. The names given to Angels by humans vary across languages, but the most common ones come from Órun. The Órun were renowned historians and the first to write down history as told by Angels. They founded the Consensus in its current form, which is the religion based around the worship of Angels.
