Yoraënism (/jɔɹəˈeɪnɪzəm/, Indrelian: Yoraenĕn [jorɑˈɛnɵ̃]) is a dualistic religion centered around the moons Ezad (Yorĕn) and Laksha (Laγĕn/Nan). It is the dominant religion across Paranaja, as well as among a significant minority of Apantosi Khtozaric peoples. Many Adjudicators and Chosen of Laksha, particularly those in Paranaja, also follow Yoraënism. Additionally, a common practice is for some among these orders to follow the Consensus while still performing some Yoraënist rituals and traditions.
Etymology
The word Yoraënism comes from Indrelian: Yoraenĕn, which comes from Classical Indrelian Yŏrlaγĕymĕn. Ultimately, this comes from the Classical Indrelian names for the two moons: Yorĕn (Ezad) and Laγĕn (Laksha; Nan in Modern Indrelian).
