Outer entity

An outer entity is an umbrella term given to any cosmic entity which possesses the ability to project itself into the physical world. There are many such entities, each the subject of worship and communion. Outer entities are central to the practice of magic, with humans known as mages training to commune with outer entities to wield their powers.
